| Usage |
- The present simple is used to talk about daily habits and routines. (Thì hiện tại đơn được dùng để nói về những thói quen hàng ngày.) |
- The present continuous is used to talk about something that is happening or not happening now, at the moment of speaking. (Thì hiện tại tiếp diễn được dùng để nói về một điều gì đó đang xảy ra ở hiện tại hoặc đang xảy tại thời điểm nói.) |

Read the text and choose the correct verb form.

Mrs Hang is a housewife. Every day, she (1) does / is doing most of the housework. She (2) cooks / is cooking, washes the clothes and (3) cleans / is cleaning the house. But today is Mother's Day and Mrs Hang isn't doing any housework. Her husband and children are doing it all for her. At the moment, she (4) watches / is watching her favourite programme on TV.
