One day last September I was helping my mom in the garden. It was seven o'clock in the evening when the weather changed. It became very windy. Things were flying everywhere. We ran inside and turned on the light. Then, it all went dark. There was no power.
Suddenly, we saw a tornado moving towards our village. I felt very scared. When it reached the village there was a lot of noise. The house was moving and things were falling. We sat on the ground and waited. After five minutes everything became quiet again.
Afterwards, we went outside. There were broken houses everywhere. We used to put our car in a garage next to the house, but there was no garage and no car there. There used to be a beautiful tower in the center of the village. It wasn't there any more. People were running and shouting. It was a terrible experience. But we were lucky because nobody died.
