My Love for Photography
By Eliza Brinkman
How did I get into photography? Many people think it's because of my famous uncle, Oliver Brinkman, who has a TV show called 'Picture of the World.' However, I began taking photos during a school trip when my grandma let me use her camera.
At 16, I started studying photography in college. I was worried about the course because I loved taking photos but wasn't sure if I was any good. It can be tough when you have a famous uncle because people expect you to be amazing too!
My first job was at the local newspaper. A neighbor heard they needed a photographer and suggested I apply. My mom encouraged me, and I got the job! On my first day, I was surprised to find an old school friend working there too.
After five years at the newspaper, I moved to London and got a job at the fashion magazine 'Dream.' I really enjoyed it.I worked in a great team; I'll always remember how kind they were to me. I went to interesting places and even worked with famous models.
Now, I have my own company called XYZ Photography. I have a team of photographers who take pictures for different magazines. My newest project is a photography course at my company. I'm excited to share my experience with new photographers. It's very thrilling!
