1. What do you often do in your free time?

There are a lot of activities such as playing video games, watching TV, drawing or reading books,... But in my spare time, I like listening to my music, especially English songs. Because I want to improve my English skills.

TOPIC 5: FESTIVALS IN VIETNAM

The Mid - Autumn Festival is an important traditional holiday and I very like it! This festival is held all over the world including Vietnam. It's always celebrated on the 15th day of the 8th month of the lunar calendar. This is the day we reunite with our family. Nowadays, Mid - Autumn Festival is mainly for young children in VN to enjoy the best time of the year. I think it's impressive because we can receive presents and play with friends. Then, we eat moon cake, it's so yummy! The adults organize some games for us to play. It's fun and interesting. I love this festival so much!

My favorite subject in school is writing. When you write, anything is possible. The only thing that limits you is your imagination. Writing also is an important skill to communicate with.
There are many types of writing. An author could write fiction, nonfiction, documentaries, biographies and poetry. There are also many other forms of writing other than books, letters, writing in diaries, newspaper and magazine arles, and manuals.
There are many interesting jobs a writer can have. Besides just writing books, there are news writers, speech writers, magazine arles, newspaper writers, travel writers, poets and screenwriters.
Each person’s writing is unique. It is only his or hers. It is a way of expressing feelings. When someone finishes writing something, it makes them feel good. They feel as if they’ve accomplished something. Writing really is artwork in written form.
The best part of all is that the written word lasts forever!

I am a secondary school student, and every day, I go to school. So let me introduce you to a day at my school. I go to school at 6 o'clock in the morning, because at school I get in quite early. I usually have 5 periods in the morning and 3 periods in the afternoon. Each of my classes has its own unique characteristics, but most of them are very interesting so I am very interested in them. My favorite class is English, and this is also my favorite subject. Why? Because I can know more things about foreign countries and it is very interesting. Every day at my school is fun. Break time plays an important part in student’s psychology after hours of studying. Students have several activities during break time. Some girl play jumping rope, some play badminton, some stay in their class to prepare for next lesson and others go to canteen for a light meal. Some of the break time, student spend time tidying up the yard; therefore, it always clean for us to play. In spring season, we plant flower and small tree to decorate the garden with colorful detail and keep it fresh. I always remember the excitement and fresh atmosphere when playing in school’s garden with friends. I have a group of best friend, we always share different stories, thought and opinion about all aspects of life in free time. Sometimes, we find a cool place to share snack and drink soft drink together so as to organize one’s birthday. The school’s yard is cool because of the shadow of big old tree. Moreover, students have large available space, which is enough for hundreds of children playing there. A 20 or 30 minute recess is necessary for learner so that they can manage the stress from studying and then they come back to learn with a good mood. No matter how big the school is, it is more suitable to have a large yard with old tree and flower. Hence, students have friendly learning environment instead of feeling like not going to school.

I like playing sport in my leisure time. My favourite leisure activity is playing badminton . I often play badminton every afternoon . I usually play it with my friends. Its very easy and interesting. It help me relax and my body becomes stronger. I like playing badminton because it help me fun and Its good for my healthy. I will continue play it in the future.
